International train tickets can be purchased from one month before the departure dates.

Using the train search in the main page or Passenger Service page  (the orange area in the pic below) will return the best results, including the transfers.

Tricky thing is that you have to fine the station name in Bulgarian other than the very main stations.

メインページかパッセンジャーサーヴィスの検索(オレンジのところ)を使うと乗り換え案内含めちゃんとした結果が出てきます。

ただ有名な駅以外はブルガリア語表記での検索になるのがちょっと大変。

Example of searching the train information from Koprivshtitsa to Plovtiv.

Since Koprivshtisa is not a big main station, you have to find it in Bulgarian letters.

Plovdiv, however, is the big station, it is in Roman letters.

コプリフシティツァからプロヴディヴまでを検索。

コプリフシティツァは小さい駅なのでキリル文字で表記。

プロヴディヴはローマンレターで表記されてる。

I really like the site because it shows everything the train traveller would like to know.

I strongly recommend to click everything you can click in the little window.

The new tab opens and show the info in Bulugarian.

開いたウィンドウ内にあるリンクをクリックするとすっごく色んな情報が載ってる。

ブルガリア語ですが、辞書やGoogle Translateなど使えば簡単にわかる。

I buy my train tickets at RILA by Grand Hotel Sofia.

The International ticket person speaks English, but usually not domestic.

Just write down the destination, quantity, date and time in both Bulgarian on the a piece of paper and give it to them.

This works great.

チケットはグランドホテルソフィアの隣のRILAで購入出来ます。

国際線担当の人は英語話しますが国内線の人は話せない人が多いです。

なので紙に行き先、枚数、日時をキリル文字と英語で書いて見せるとスムーズに購入できます。

The domestic tickes can be purchased from 5 days before the travaling date.

The design of this site is changed.

I can't find English version.

I believe that they are still working on.

I clicked 24 and searched in Burugalian letter, it works fine.

And do the screen search in Bulgalian letter.

You can do it by your eye, of course.

セントラルバスステーションのサイトの内容が変わってしまい、現在英語表示に変する事が出来ないようです。

メインページの12をクリックし、次のページで24をクリックすれば、バスのリストは出ます。

スクリーン検索を使うと楽ですが、キリル文字での検索になります。

近いうちにl英語が戻ってくると良いのですが。

Use quick search if you have a destination.

行き先が決まってるなら、quick searchを利用。

This search dose not work, right now.

今このquick searchは使えません。

When you are wondering about the next destination from Sofia, click Departure next 12 hours.

This will give you the whole list of departing buses from the station in the next 12hours, including international destinations.

どこに行こうかな、と考えているなら赤いところをクリック。

今の時間から12時間先の出発リストが出てきます。

国際線もちゃんと入ってます。

 

Once you are in the next 12 hours window, you can click next 24 hours.

This will give you the whole list of buses leaving Sofia.

 

I love the list because this gives me the basic info such as final destination and stops, operating company and days, and price.

このリストは行き先、途中止まるところ、バス会社、運行曜日が書いてある。

Once you find the bus you want to use, go to the bus station and get inside of the building (don't go to the sector number yet and don't try to find the sector number inside of the building).

Find the right booth using the company name. You may find a booth by the destination, but some destinations are operated by multiple bus companies, so the time might differ from what you are looking for.

You should write down the company and destination in Bulgarian letter because not all bus booth uses Roman letters.

Showing the memo will reduce the difficulty to find the right location and this will save your time for sure.

The most people inside booth seem to speak English.

Some bus companies have the website, and you can buy tickets there. 

I tried ETAP and ARDA. 

Buy tickets online and before the bus time, show the reservation confirmation number at the company's booth, they will give you the real tickets.

And then go outside and find the right sector where your bus is awaiting for you.

乗るバスが決まったら、セントラルバスステーションに行き、バス会社の切符売り場をビル内部で探します。会社名キリル文字表記のみかもなので、一応キリル文字で、メモっておく。

行き先でも探せると思いますが、行き先によって数社の運行の場合もあるので、違う会社の切符売り場に辿り着いてしまったら予定していたのとは違う時間のものしか買えない事になってしまいます。

必要情報をキリル文字で書いておくと、色んな人に聞けるので正しい場所に辿り着くまでの時間が短縮されるとおもいます。

切符売り場の人は英語話す人が結構いるよう。

The central bus station search was good enough for me, but I think there naught be more buses leaving/arraiving at Sofia.  For example, there should be a bus to NISH, Serbia, but the bus is not in the central bus search.

Could be cancelled?

Or could be operated differentry?

There is a booth of Nise ekspres in the central bus station, so if I really want to know about the bus I go there and ask them.
